Providing Shelter & Support for Westchester County's
Neediest and Most At-Risk Residents
Grace Church Community Center
Our outreach arm, the Grace Church Community Center, is a 501(c)(3) corporation, operates the Open Arms Shelter for men and Samaritan House for women and six other programs in White Plains. Housing Assistance for persons with AIDS and others in need is available. Through our Neighbors Program, we provide care for the sick and elderly in their homes. We provide a drop-in program for the developmentally disabled, and during the summer our Day Camp hosts the poorest children in Westchester County.
Many of these programs are housed in our Parish Hall. The hall is in use seven days per week, 24 hours a day. The rector and wardens serve as the corporation of GCCC. A board of directors, representing the church and the community, provide oversight and fundraising for our programs. Help and donations are always welcome
