Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1st, Soup Kitchen BBQ: Hope that you are all enjoying your summer. Our upcoming national holiday is a day off for the GCCC Soup Kitchen staff. If you have a spare hour or two, consider volunteering to assist our neediest neighbors. Donations of food are generously accepted (e.g. potato salad, pasta salad, fruit, desserts). Our friends at the Crowne Plaza are coming by again! It will be a festive occasion - there's a sign up sheet outside of the Parish Hall. We generally start at 9:00 am and are done by 12 noon.
