Hospital Visitation
In addition to regular clergy visits, a group of volunteers (Lay Eucharistic Ministers) regularly visits area hospitals and nursing homes to administer communion, provide companionship and fellowship to the sick and frail.
Holiday Meals
In conjunction with Grace Church Community Center, Inc., and local volunteers, holiday meals are hosted for the homeless and hungry in the Parish Hall on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Members of Grace Church / La Gracia serve meals on other holidays, such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, President’s Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, etc.
Blood Pressure Screening
Blood Pressure Screening is offered weekly to guests of Samaritan House (Women’s Shelter) and staff; all Grace Church employees and volunteers. The same screening is offered once each month on Sunday for parishioners. Counseling is also offered concerning medications, diet and physician visits.
